overpay tbh he was that bad last season lol flyers have been very patient with patrick and it hasnt done shit guy should be getting like a 750k league minimum deal and still be overpay
unless they can make him not scared to play hockey hes never going to be good imo the guy used to have potential and show flashes but last season my god i feel like hes one of the worst players ive seen play hockey
he shouldnt have even been in the nhl maybe thats the flyers fault but it felt like he was given a roster spot due to his potential and didnt earn it and he wasnt able to do anything with it

but i honestly feel patrick thinks hes top shit 2nd overall great player but hes not even close to that which is probably why the flyers even traded him and it took this long for him to sign a deal
guys acts like he should be given more toi like top 6 role when the guy cant even prove he can earn a 4th line spot

i think he will do well just by being on a good team like vegas, and it's only 1.2mil avv which is pretty good for a young player

yeah idk i mean lots of young players are doing good on philly patrick just wasnt one of them
maybe changing teams will help probably not its not like he wasnt given a chance or hes leaving buffalo or some basement team that cant develop players
imo this seems more a case of problems with the players game on the ice not the team behind him patrick has had nothing but support and was given all the time in the world because of his injuries
and all that really came from that was him being unhappy and demanding top 6 mins with ahl level play they wanted him to be the 3c and they couldnt even get that out of him and he wants top 6 lol
