The @PredsNHL have signed defenceman Ryan Ellis to an eight-year contract worth $50 million ($6.25 million AAV) that'll kick in for the 2019-20 season.

Deal does not include NMC/NTC...Ellis gets a $7M signing bonus on July 1, 2019.

Poile is awesome. All his deals have cheap AAV and almost none have NTCs.

He's the best GM in the league. Shows patience and makes amazing trades to help his team on top of being great at negotiating contracts.
