Curious addition in Schenn seeing as he's had most of his success on the wing.

yea, i wonder if they may have something else up their sleeves. still in desperation mode to find a top 6 center.

gonna really miss reaves, but i understand why that trade was made.

Just goes to show you how much not only the fans and the players loved Reevo, but the management as well in the decision to get more value out of him than Perry.

Gonna miss Reevo, that guy's my fuckin favorite.

I don't feel like Schenn is as bad at center as a lot of flyers fans think. The reason he struggled at 5 on 5 a majority of the time was from not playing center. He tends to play better in the offense zone when he floats instead of grinding the boards as a winger. His pick retrieval is poor and he loses the puck very easily in most situations as such. If the blues can keep him at center with wings who will get the puck then I think he fits great. And on the power play he's great for the medium one timer and deflection goals as well as keeping the play alive. I think a lot of frustration comes with expectations on him being very high and him not living up to them. Two big pros are he never misses a game and his contract is exactly what he should get paid. He's a 50-60 point player at 5.1m...perfect

saw an article saying that we were interested in Jagr

don't think that's the solution this time around to go shopping for the old vets

yea the days of signing old vets in an attempt to bandaid a situation have hopefully died out the minute hitchcock left. if we want to be built on speed, jagr wont help. lets see what the kids can do.
