Mallorca is having a great season so far.

2nd place, 2 points behind a much-stronger-on-paper Espanyol, and 5 points clear from 3rd place (which marks the line between direct promotion and the playoffs). Our calendar is looking good too, with most of our upcoming opponents currently in the bottom half of the table, and only 9 games to go.

However, we've been playing pretty badly over the past 2 months. Some lucky wins, mediocre draws and dissapointing defeats. It all started when our box-to-box/DM injured his hamstring. He should be back next week (let's hope so). We were first placed and playing very, very well until his injury.
