Schurrle retires from football. Quite surprising seeing as he's only 29.

I'll be rooting for them above any other premier league club.

Loved watching them a while back when i was a kid under David O'Leary.

So many talents went through that team. Kewell, ferdinand, alan smith, woodgate, bowyer.

Fun fact : Under O'Leary and assistant Eddie Gray, Leeds never finished outside the top five in the Premier League.

Hopefully that happens under bielsa.

As a Boro fan, I'm not the biggest fan of Woodgate atm. Thank the lord we only need 1 point to near guarantee safety...

:(

Well, Mallorca's relegation was expected at the start of the season, tbh. We've played 90% of our games with at least 5 starters that were part of our squad when we were in the 3rd level. No budget, no experience, no quality... just heart, and that's not enough in top flight.

We will have to see what the project for next season looks like. Our american owners have never shown interest in investing into strengthening the team... they say it's "acceptable for the club to play some seaons in the first level, and others in the second one... our priority is to make the club self reliant and capable of producing talent so that it can become regular top flight member in the long run"... so we might no see Mallorca in Primera in the next couple of years.

We will know what to expect when we know who will coach us next season. Our current coach is ambitious, and has several offers from teams in Primera, and also a very succulent offer from freshly relegated Espanyol (who will have a whopping 50M€ budget in Segunda). He will likely leave, but we can't rule out the possibility of him staying... the owners say that they want him to stay, but he will demand investment and players that are in line with a team that seeks promotion. If he doesn't stay, then we will know what to expect based on what manager is appointed... someone with experience promoting to Primera, some young and ambitious manager that has proved to be promising in Segunda, some no-mark, etc...
