We're back, boys
Very nice win to start off the season. We completely run over Eibar during the first half hour, and it was a real shame we were only 1-0 at half time. The second half was much more balanced. Eibar managed to draw, and then defended, allowing us to push for victory, which we eventually achieved thanks to an own goal.
I'm over all very happy with the performance, but it seems to me that it's obvious we need to improve the team. Eibar's LB was atrocious and a turned his flank into a freeway for out RW, and Eibar as a whole was still showcasing that early season sluggishness some teams suffer in the first few games (especially when playing away), while we played our hearts out from the very beginning... and we still could have failed to win the game (even though the 3 points are 100% deserved). We will need better players in future games.
Anyhow, very nice and important 3 points. We really need to win these kind of games if we want to have a chance of avoiding relegation.
