2-2 away vs Beerschot, even tho they equalized it's still a really good result!

Mallorca will be playing home against Villarreal B tomorrow.

Huge test. Villarreal B have a very solid team, thanks to the money injected by the club to try to promote their b-team to Segunda. They are in great form, 2nd placed and just 4 points behind us... winning this game would be huge, as it would give us a very significant 7 point lead over them (and third placed Elche, if they win today). It's a great chance, so we need to make the best of it and fight for the 3 points.

Also, Villarreal is very much hated in Mallorca, so the atmosphere will be special... even though it's embarrassing as fuck to have to be playing to their b team. We need to destroy them and promote this summer, so that this never happens again.

Mallorca 1 - 0 Villarreal B B)

It was a tough game, with Villarreal B being the better side during the first half, but luckily our keeper made two great saves and kept the score 0-0. Then in the second half we woke up and took the game B)

Out of the 4 groups in Segunda B, our group is supposed to be the most competitive... and we're demolishing it so far. 7 point lead over the second placed (Villarreal B), 10 point lead over the team that is supposed to be our main rival for the title (Elche), and 14 point lead over the 5th placed team that marks the promotion boundary (our local rivals Atlético Baleares). We're also the team with the most points and best goal difference out of 4 Segunda B groups, the second best when it comes to goals conceded (Burgos from group 2 has conceded only 1, although we've both kept 9 clean sheets so far), and third best team when it comes to goals in favour (Elche with 20 and Sporting B with 19, top our 18 goals).

Obviously being in the third level, anything that is not winning the group is unacceptable, but I really wasn't expecting such an amazing start, especially in the most complicated group. The upcoming games are going to be tough as well (we'll be facing the likes of Lleida, Cornella, Badalona, Elche, etc) in the upcoming weeks, but I hope we can keep this amazing form! B)

Didn't Metz almost relegate last year? Maybe you'll avoid the axe again, you never know... form can change quickly, iirc you started really strong last season only to almost drop; this year it could be the other way around! :D

Team of the year is so useless now... literally just a popularity contest. How the fuck do some of these players make it in, for example Neymar and iniesta...
