fishing story from bretagne:
Fishing in the bretagne has something magical, there is huge waves crushing at the coast, close to your feet the white boiling sea
and since tide difference is huge you have a lot of great spots for catching a broad variety of tasty fishes very close.
You can scout good spots when the water is down, you need sandy spots because the heavy lead of 100g+ can get stuck between rocks or
your line will get damaged by washing over the rocks otherwise.
I started using some clam meat when i arrived there, didnt have lot of success, caught a few dorades tho. Bait was missing and had to be
replaced a lot, later i found out why: there are some hunting sea snails that go crazy once they smell the clam meat and will clean it in no time.
Few days after arrival i found a good spot to digg lugworms, they worked soo much better. Caught a lot of big dorades, wrasses and others.
I saw some guys fishing for calamar with big success, they used a kajak. I also build a lobster trap, didnt catch one but that might been because
the construction was not very stable and partly got washed over with sand.
It was one of my best fishing trips ever and i will definitly return!
Clam meat is the best
