Just got back from clam digging, went yesterday as well, got 6 limits of razor clams (90 total). My 4 year old son loved it.

Going fishing, hoping to bring in a silver. Hooked 3 yesterday but they spit the hook before I could net em.

Salmon are running here! been getting 'em on the fly rod, soooooo much fun. maybe i'll share some pics eventually

Bought the gf a new spinning reel, Okuma Inspira, and she loves it. Picked it up for $35 brand new.

Been eyeing a couple Shimano casting reels and a Cabelas casting reel. They're running about $170 each but I'm hoping to find a better deal come holiday time.

Also looking into a new rod but I'm not sure I'll be able to hide a $300+ setup from her lol. She already said I need to liquidate two rods for every new one I get...I've been using a medium/light and I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep using that style.


Any tips on rods lmk, anything that's a two-piece from 6'6 - 8'6 in length, is what I'm looking for.
