Pursuit - The second Hammerdin

I took dying with my first Paladin really hard. There was too much time invested in it and I had too much fun just to call it quits. I wanted to get back up on the horse immediately but I needed some time off first. I know I would rush things if I started it up right after I died and that would probably result in me dying again. I still blame myself for playing too reckless and that's why I hold it off for a while. But it was a good lesson and it's NOT going to happen again.

Anyway. This time I'm being more careful. I will be more prepared and take less chances. The same farm in NM will be there... but what I look most forward to is running Lower Kurast again. Will I be able to get the same return of Runes?

The goals did not change. Or well, actually they did... a bit.

Level 97. +1 level from last time.

I ask you bare with me as the start of this WT probably is something you've already seen. The Nightmare farm for example.

But after that... what I really wanted to do. Lower Kurast (oh I'm looking forward to this again, but let's not get ahead of ourselves), The Travincal, Chaos Sanctuary, Baal and Cow runs for some huuuuuuuuuuuuge items!

I'd also like to say thanks to all the positive feedback I've gotten. It's a huge motivation boost!.

Oh... :/ Where did you find it and where did you die?

Found at lower kurast, and died to fire enchanted uniqe monster.. I had full fire res but low health from the fight its3lf and didn't noticed...

so pumped to see you back with the hdin!! have fun man!

Good luck! This time you'll probably go all the way. Anyhow, Sebhehe, what do you think makes you so special? Why do everyone(including me) love your WTs? I think it might be your time invested, but surely that can't be your only secret? What's your kryptonite, besides work?

Haha, I'm def not the right person to answer the first questions. But I can tell you I love following people who enjoy their WTs and dedicate themself to them. I get bored if someone keeps switching char all the time and doesn't give it an honest chance. But it's very personal... what motivates you I mean. I've always been the guy who can run 10 000 LK runs if I "need" to do it. I guess people enjoy following me because they feel somewhat like that too? They know I don't stop (unless Treehead bashes my head in... :D).

I mean seeing HR's or those extremely rare items pop in D2 will always be special to me. It's such an awesome feeling. I remember long ago, I can't remember the patch right now. But I found a Jah in Cow Runs back then when HRs were impossible to find and there were barely any runewords. The most awesome drop I've had was an Eth Perfect Arkaine's Valor tho (1.08 or 1.09). I grabbed it infront of a barbarian who whispered me about it for like a year... no kidding.
