There have been plenty of research regarding Ball Lightning being an alternative to Nether tentacles. The problem with Ball lightning is, that it hits twice, yes, but it seems like each hit only hits for 77,5% instead of 155%. This has not been confirmed.

I just did a bit of testing on this and I'm really not sure. When bl hits twice, it does a bit more dmg. Problem is in a lot of kiting situations where baddies are moving towards you, it will only hit once, and that does a lot less damage than nt.

Multishot with fire at will is looking kind of attractive now tbh. More dmg per shot than either, but dat hatred spending... :/ not sure what to do

50 hatred so you can only spam it 2 times

Unleashes 6 mini bombs that does 230% damage each, + the main bomb that ticks 2 to 3 times 200% damages

Range is pretty small compared to Nether tentacle and is not as much spammable but at 100% SS, it does some nasty damages, even more than pre-nerf Tentacles i think

Grenadier passive to reduce cluster to 40 hatred instead of 50 doesn't seems worthy for this skill, it allows you to spam 3 times instead of 2 but you have to either drop sharpshooter or steady aim/archery

Ball Lightning is far superior to NT now....

Ive swithced to ball lightning.

Cant decide what I like better.

That nether nerf was just unnecessary and overkill.
