230 kg/507 lb squat. Gym PR and first time hitting 500+ since january 2018.

Feels like I'm on my way to beat my best squat soon.

Shit man that was a solid lift.. You had another 5-10 freedom units in there. What’s your BW now? And what programming are you using?

Goal is 175 kg/385 lb on meet day in 5 weeks. Currently averaging 92 kg/202,8 in the morning and as far as programming, I was doing a strength bloc doing 5s and 3s for the past few weeks. I ended up with 5s@140/308 on bench day #1 and 3s at 150/330 on day #2.

Pulled 630 conventional last week. Felt pretty good. Would appear that taking a bit of additional time slowing down my rep work has good carry over to single. That seems pretty obvious that it would but its hard to want to slow it down sometimes. Sometimes on 80-85% slogs I just want to get the set over with.

Or perhaps its because I'm only in the gym 3 days a week and less is more with deadlifts.

Great job bro, love to see some videos.

Current status is cutting, been running Juggernaut hypertrophy programming for the last few months, down 30 lbs.. Got a dexa scan estimating I'm 25% +/- 2% at 246, so goal right now is to land around 210 and stick there.

Lifts are definitely struggling right now, but dieting is taking precedence for now.

I never take videos. Our gym is in an old single room school house the size of a shoebox and there's usually more than just I. Although its the same group of people so I'd assume they wouldn't care.

I used their app for a bit for strength. I found that sometimes their volume was out to lunch and while its nice to just have something telling me what to do everyday, I personally couldn't justify the 45+ dollars CAD per month anymore. Between Prime, Audible, Netflix, Spotify I felt i could just do what Juggernaut was doing in Excel easy enough and needed to trim monthly subscriptions.

For sure dude. It really depends on where you're at in fitness anyways. I've never really made my own successful program, so learning how long a hypertrophy block should be and rep range vs how long a strength block should be vs rep range is tough for me to figure out.

And the volume can be fucking goofy dude. Especially right now i'm doing 30% powerlifting and 70% bodybuilding.. 6 sets of 10 reps @ 75% gets kinda dicey around my 4th set in.. And the accessories absolutely burn me out.

I plan on hiring an RP coach at the end of my cut to see if a little 1 on 1 would be better.
