then go 31 miles. that does suck though. outside of the pt studio i have at home, anywhere i go in town is the same situation. literally, i have more squat/bench dedicated equipment than anyone nearby and i have a garage gym. there's the gym full of idiots (literally, they're all idiots. i don't understand it). there's the overpay old people gym. there's the gym that's everything else and where the squat rack should be reservable with 400 hours notice, and then there are a couple of little chick boxes. otherwise i need to leave town to have any hope. so i know your pain.

is the entire gym on the 2nd floor? if not, one would think the heavy stuff would go on the bottom floor if there's any concern about breaking through a floor/ceiling.
