Finally found an Um in chaos though so I could UP my best harpoon.

Diablo was cake with crushing blow from helm & boots.

Leveled from 87 to 88 doing meph runs on /p5. p5 selected based on max player setting where kill could occur with three stacks of weapons + dual angelics + CB from g'face + goblin toes. Three stacks because dual-isted baba is held in off hand for extra MF. Treachery stays stashed in preference to tri-pTopaz'ed gris armor for these runs. Res is real low when doing this, but merc is a good tank, especially after giving him tal's mask for extra resists & LL.

For runs on /p1:
Matching( ) 28 nagels - 70 & 73
IK Helm (dual pTopaz), boots ( 40FRW + 25MF from set) & belt
Fortuitous amulet of fortune ( only 33MF though ) - Usually I don't bother taking off teleport amulet in this setup though. 33 extra MF on top of 500+ is not too important.

Total like 450+ runs, and the only two items I'll save for future twinking of other characters are:
5os rune master, 270ED - perfect!
Eth crown of thieves w/ 92 GF / 9LL / 177 ED

Still no chancies, goldwrap, razortail, atmas, Arreat's Face, gores, or travs . I have found a couple more ravens, 3 nats helms, 3 andariels visage, 3 crown of thieves, 2 facets, lots of treks (none eth yet), many dracs too... everything but the few items I really want to complete this toon. The nice surprises from meph were the circlet and throwing spear, both seen previously. Here is a collage of some of those things:

The only downside to this map overall is only one campfire in Lower Kurast

I may continue questing soon. Haven't got bored doing all these runs yet.

I will be continuing after I mf some nice throwing axes. I'm worried about ancients, so I'm planning to use frenzy or double swing + dracs. I found gimmershred today, and also have some nice rare hurlbats to share tomorrow. Countess finally gave me an um too, so I gotta decide whether to burn it upping one now, or hold out.. I'm afk right now otherwise I'd post screenies.

OK, ISO opinions.. Should I burn my UM upping one of these hurlbats? I really with they had more useful mods, although the chances for really good rares are so very low. There is a great affix calc for rares / crafts on that german website.

I finally found some crowd control... After hundreds of meph runs, a surprise dropped! Then two more! And the third one was Eth!

Care to guess what it may be?

Since then I've run Baal a couple times. MF gear is NOT safe. Those festering appendages must deal some serious elemental damage
