nolan patrick was seen playing in a hockey :O non contact but thats a pretty good sign

was also watching the ohl interview of foerster and it sounds like hes been living and training with his strength training coach throughout covid cause he said "he took me in when all this started"
he said he started with his skating trainer too so hes probably in really great shape

im checking scouting reports and his skating seems like its not bad but it could be better this was the most in depth one i saw
foerster has some good aspects to his skating but needs to work on his speed and explosiveness. His top-end speed allows him to keep up with the play, but he would be even more dangerous if he had another gear. Foerster could also be a little quicker with his first step and his acceleration. He is strong on his skates though. It is tough to knock him off the puck and he uses his body to protect the puck in the cycle game. Foerster is also good on his edges and has excellent agility. This allows him to slip away from defenders both with and without the puck.

sounds like the guys got one hell of a shot and this highlight vid seems like thats pretty true
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lINEUFgfhD0

Just did a quick look at his stats.

He outscored the next player on his team by 33 points despite 19/20 year olds playing on his line.

That being said it looks like his junior team made a ton of trades that year, so who knows who was playing with who through all of it.

From the highlight video he looks good at 23rd. Good size and can clearly shoot the puck.

yeah the tsn guys said his weak point was skating but it doesnt sound like its weak enough to really make him bad just could be better and make him that much better
and yeah he one scouting report said "he can pick the corners with ease" and you see that in the vid a lot of his shots they are bar down or top corner seems like hes got an accurate shot that looks pretty deadly
multiple reports "has one of the best shots in the draft" or similar  seems like a solid pick at 23rd for sure

and looking at trades he mighta played with ryan suzuki who had 23p in 21gp /jason williams 41p in 35gp/tucker tyler 21p in 28gp they were on the team and got traded
some pretty good players but nobody super amazing stat wise jason williams fell off idk if he got less ice time or was being carried but his point dropped hard other 2 were about the same slightly better after swapping teams

nhl.com projected flyers line up
Projected lineup
Claude Giroux -- Sean Couturier -- Jakub Voracek
Oskar Lindblom -- Kevin Hayes -- Travis Konecny
James van Riemsdyk -- Nolan Patrick -- Joel Farabee
Michael Raffl -- Scott Laughton -- Nicolas Aube-Kubel
Ivan Provorov -- Philippe Myers
Travis Sanheim -- Erik Gustafsson
Robert Hagg -- Justin Braun
Carter Hart
Brian Elliott

i like myers and hes looked good but idk about 1st pairing good i think him and sanheim made a good 2nd pairing
sanheim same deal hes looked good but had some stretches where his D was questionable and pairing him with another offensive d man... i just dont see that working
i really just dont see how gust fits in anywhere tbh i hope it works out but when i look at the lines its like where the fuck do you put him...not to mention we still have ghost and myers isnt even signed yet

the forwards id say thats pretty likely the D idk man i feel like this cant be it lol and i wouldnt be surprised to see braun in the top 4 i feel he might fit bette with a guy like sanheim then gust

some franchise records giroux is closing up on thought it was pretty cool
1. 900-game club
With 889 career regular season games played, Giroux is 11 games away from becoming just the third player in Flyers franchise history to play in 900 games. He is 14 games away from tying Bill Barber (903) for second in team history.
Bobby Clarke's 1,144 regular season games played is the most in franchise history.
2. 3rd in points
Giroux has tallied 815 career points, ranking 4th in franchise history. He needs 34 points to tie Brian Propp (849) for third. To catch Bill Barber (883) this season for second, Giroux would need 68 points in 2020-21.
Clarke's franchise record of 1,210 appears to be out of reach.
3. 600-assist club
Giroux is already 2nd in franchise history with 558 assists. Clarke's franchise-record 852 assists is a long way off for Giroux. However, there is an incremental goal that is in reach in the near future. Giroux would need 42 assists during the 2020-21 season to reach the 600 mark for his regular season career.
Giroux is currently 117th in the NHL all-time assist list. When he get to No. 600, Giroux will become the 92nd player in league history to reach that mark.
4. 9th in goals
With 21 goals scored in 2019-20, Giroux brought his career regular season goal total to 257, moving past the likes of Rod Brind'Amour, Mark Recchi and Rick Tocchet into 10th place in all-time team history. Giroux's 7th goal during the 2020-21 season will tie him with Simon Gagne for 9th in team history, and his next goal after that will put the Flyers' captain into sole possession of the spot.
Giroux has always been much more of a playmaker than a goal scorer. However, the team's 300-goal club -- with currently has seven members -- is in reach for Giroux within a couple seasons. Giroux is 33 goals from catching Eric Lindros for 8th in team history and 49 away from matching Reggie Leach's 306 in a Flyers uniform.
5. 1st in Power Play Points
Giroux will enter the 2020-21 season with 318 power play points (80 power play goals, 238 power play assists) in his career. He already ranks 2nd in team history in that category. Giroux would need 17 power play points this season to tie Clarke for the most in franchise history; 18 to own the all-time mark outright.

goalies
ersson-21yo-SHL-7gp 3.10 .903 hes the #1 back up is 3.81-.887 teams got 3 wins in 10gp
fedotov-23yo-KHL-7gp 1.71 .940 hes the backup
tomek-23yo-Liiga-5gp 2.77 .905 looks like a 1a1b situation with both have 5-6gp but whats interesting is this guy had a lot of potential and had some serious injuries that deraild his career but hes worked his way back up to the finish liiga
sandstrom-23yo-swedish jrs-4gp 2.43 .932

nothing super great but some good young prospects in higher tier leagues and most seem to be holding their own doing pretty good so
