Yzerman is a stellar GM.

I understand Mantha has great size and the potential to break out under the right scenario but the return they got is exceptional.

Yzerman making other Gm's look bad.

Furthermore they get Vrana on a down year so resigning him will be cheap.

He is an RFA and they should be able to get a cap friendly deal with him as he will most likely remain a Red Wing due to RFA status.

Vrana also has untapped potential. He never got the chance to play big minutes in Wahsington. With Detroit he will.

Larkin Zadina Vrana should be an extremely solid first line... if thats how blash wants to play it, probably not though cuz dude sucks
