We've seen Cobb in a featured role before, and it's not the greatest. Adams has been a beast, but he's a concussion away from mashed potatoes for brains. You can put all your eggs in the Geronimo "Will I be suspended again?" Allison basket if you want, but veteran help is veteran help.

I doubt he would come for how cheap we would have to get him anyway

I'm not gonna pretend to be some expert on Dez since the only Cowboys game I watched last year was the one vs the Packers, but every report I've read on him has some scout or GM saying he's slow and can't play anymore. Even if that's not true, how much does veteran presence really help if he's acting like a 5 year old girl every time the ball isn't thrown his way?

To be unequivocally clear, I'm not advocating Dez or that GB needs to go get him, but more concerned with the depth of our receiving corps at this point. It's frightfully thin and it's not like Cobb is a pillar of health either

we were dumping jordy regardless of what happened with dez so the two should not be viewed as even distantly related
our wr group is very underwhelming outside of adams and mayyyybe cobb
hopefully rodgers can make one of the rooks decent in year 1
but a solid, probably not that expensive dez bryant, would make me feel a lot better about our wr options
if he ends up being a pain in the ass, cut him
not risking much on a 1 year
and i'm kind of all-aboard the spend-money-now-while-rodgers-is-still-under-40 train
all that said, it would be a luxury, and i don't think dez would really have any interest in coming to green bay, tbh
