DAmn he's gonna be dangerous, slimy, tricky mofo. I love the fact that he always seems to make room for others with his skating, like it will either attract defense towards him or goalies will have to keep guessing if he will shoot or make a ez pass with the room he created.

yeah of course, but it's only a wishful thinking though. Canucks never got a 1oa before, and draft is in vancouver next year, so it only makes sense they will yet again achieve another 5+ OA pick.
It would take a lot to trade for that 1oa for jack hughes though. If canucks get lucky for once and get 1oa to draft jack it would definitely help lolnux for years to come

Would be amazing and we really need it. I know there's no "deserve" in sports but fuck, if you look at our entire history or even just draft lottery luck recently, we can really use something that breaks our way.

Washington won their cup, Toronto won the lottery and signed one of the biggest FAs in history, Buffalo won the lottery and got maybe a generational player. The list of teams that have been around for a long time and are due for something nice is down to like just Van and STL.

Getting Hughes would really set up a deadly top-6 forward group for us.
