Thank you, please let me know the results of your test. As Slayer_Samir said in his thread (linked above), he believed the 89%GIAS bp did not work for Amazon javelin throwing (using a ceremonial or matriarchal javelin) and was unsure if there might be a different breakpoint for throwing than standard attack.

those are the standard attack bp's for a regular javalin, i made a set for each bp and threw them one by one I can could see the increase for each frame

so it seems the breaks for throw are the same as standard

edit: same results with lightning fury / bolt - forgot to try those lol

EIAS = [(120 x GIAS) / (120 + GIAS)] + SIAS – WSM
SIAS is where you plug in fanaticism's IAS, WSM is -30 for PB and 0 for BA, GIAS is IAS from your grief (30-40%) plus your other items (gloves).
to reach max FPA, 6, you'll need to reach an EIAS of
(Test done with a level 20 Fanat, but the EIAS outcome is the same with a higher fanat, the GIAS is changed to compensate)
EIAS = [(120 x 54) / (120 + 54)] + 35 – 0
EIAS = [(6480) / (174)] + 35
EIAS = 37.241 + 35
EIAS = 72.241
The breakpoint is 72 EIAS.

and if you had no fanaticism activated you would need 180%ias from gear to get 6FPA.

You may want to fix this linkproblem though, or have a moderator fix it:

WSM2 is the number aspect of the weapon, which does not change when you add IAS to the weapon. When numbers are listed for Weapon Speeds such as [0], [-20], [20], the higher the number is, the slower the Weapon Speed. So, [20] is the slowest of the Weapon Speeds, and [-20] is the fastest. Refer to [URL= http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/weaponsandarmor.shtml#elite]Arreat Summit’s Item Pages[/URL] to locate the WSMs of whatever weapons you are looking for. This number is what is factored into the equation, negatively. This means if your weapon starts as a listed [-20], when you plug it into the formula you will get a positive number 20 to add to the rest of your EIAS factors.
