Ya I didn't count Sobotka, Biddle, Winkler from earlier in the year, but they scared me more than Minter lol. Jackson at least has the stuff, he's got a nasty slider and can throw 98. He just throws so many sliders sometimes that it loses it effectiveness.

That's what worries me. He just had it happen recently and was benched and talked about it. He is flashy and can definitely rub people the wrong way and I hope it doesn't affect him being in Atlanta long term because they have him on a steal of a contract. Atlanta needs to get good value out of contracts because they are a mid-market team and Liberty Media isn't going to break the bank while they own the team.

Too many missed opportunity to close the NLDS series out in the previous losses, very poor execution and yet another disappointment
But I really don't see the Cardinals beating the Dodgers or Astros/Yankees ;\ I felt like we had a better chance against those teams.

I wish Soroka would of gotten 2 starts instead of 1. He was their best pitcher all year and it hasn't been close. I know he has pretty wild road/home splits and that is why they wanted him to pitch game 3. But they could of pitched him game 1 and 4 and got him a start on the road if that was really an issue. I know he is a rookie, but he does not pitch like a rookie at all. He pitches like a veteran, he never got shaken even through jams and tough games during the year. I was fine with the 3 guys they used and was open to Fried starting potentially as well. I just think it was a big mistake to have your best pitcher pitch game 3 in a best of 5.

What did you think of the rotation?

No clue, not to make excuses but too many missed opportunities/mistakes in the first 2 losses. Braves had plenty of chances to win those games. 3rd Cardinal win was just a massacre lol
