Edit: Wimp, I can help you out. The first thing you want to do is set a budget for how much you spend. Then figure out how much of that budget will go to peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, gamepads, desk, etc). Once you've got a budget in mind then you can really start looking at getting something.

I would suggest going with a pre-built machine, there are quite a few places nowadays that do great work and don't charge an arm and a leg for the customization. CyberPowerPC, IBuyPower, Digital Storm, NZXT, just to name a couple of options. Right now with the chip shortage the way that it is, it's actually easier to get a pre-built than to try and custom build one yourself.

I was able to custom build one through CLX. I spent ~2300$ but id been waiting for the rtx 3000 series for almost a year and with the chip shortage the way it is, it didnt look to be getting any better soon. So glad I didnt keep waiting
