Not really.

Company wise I know off the top of my head that JL makes a shallow mount, as well does Rockford Fosgate (P3S). Since I know you have Rockfords, the P3S is prolly best for you.

Sundown Audio makes a Shallow Mount 12"

My set up in my previous car is loud enough lol.

Deck: Pioneer-AVH-P4200 7" DVD double-din head unit
Amp: JL Audio 1000w/1v2 monoblock amp
Amp 2: (interior speakers) JL Audio 200w 4 channel amp
Front speakers: JL Audio C2 Components
Rear speakers: JL audio C2 Component
Box: Custom enclosure made for my 13w7's specs.
Subs: JL Audio 13.5"-D1.5
Wires: Stinger pro/ Stinger hypertwist
Other: Ultima yellow top bat, dynamat, cat.

Easily could hit 160db. My set-up is damaging my hearing.

I don't want so much power in my new car. hence the 10" shallow.

You think that could easily hit 160db's? *facepalm* smh

Yes you fucking idiot..

Do you know what the fuck a 13w7-D1/5 is?! I'm running a 1,200$ SINGLE Sub with a peak of 2,500 Watts.
I use a JL Audio 1000w/1v2 amp. Boom another $1,200 right there. Custom box built to my speakers Exact dimensions with an I-shape port made by JL certified specialist. I run a Pioneer-AVH-P4200 7" DVD double-din head unit. JL audo gold audio interconnect cables 18', Powered by an optima yellow top battery, I have a batt cat, 1/0-gauge amp/power/ground wire, full Dynamat, not to mention, my interior JL audio C2 component front and back 6"by9" speakers with a older gen jl audio 4 channel amp with stinger pro hypertwist premium wires re-wired.

This sub out of the box, can easily hit 120db. Do some research before you put your two cents in. It's not an Exact db reading but i know iit can hit 140 dbs confidently. I've spent a ridiculous amount of $ on my audio set-up.
No back seat in my car. 56 pound subwoofer. and I havent been able to test it properly. go ahead and make jokes. I have expensive hobbies.
Edit: My audio system is worth more than your burb and then some.

The price of a system doesn't tell you how loud or great it's if anything you're dumb as fuck for spending that much on overpriced JL equipment... I also bet you're not hitting near 140db.

It's not a cost or quality thing brah

It's next to impossible to show numbers like that unless you're driving a van stacked to the hilt with audio components.

140dB isn't that big of a deal really. I hit high 120's and i've spent maybe 500 bucks.

Do you realize how much a difference from 120-130 it's? about 4x as loud... Now from 130-140? about 6 times as loud, and from 140-150? about 8 times as loud... so on and so fourth, there's so much fail in this topic ugh.

I don't know about companies, I just know technical aspects to things, and id rather make a few less dB and have a much cleaner sound. JL's aren't known for SQ

But like I said, I spent 500 bucks and im pushing almost 130. And my interiors aren't even amped.

Such fail...JL not known for SQ? that's about all they're known for...

160dB is achievable..

Its the sound pressure level, its just air pressure, its not technically actual sound.

The comp I went to down in NH had a Jeep Cherokee that his 167dB, I believe the highest record of subs hitting was ~170dB.

Easily first place.

You're from NH area no way! I live in Maine and the Jeep you're talking about is Keith Fafards Jeep and yes it's VERY loud but SPL is not just Sound Pressure in a nut shell it's an indication of how loud you are, his Jeep has more into it than you think and his box is almost genius... To hit numbers like him takes A LOT 160 is achievable but not to anyone here lol.

But what I'm saying if you should get a box made to your subs specs. They all have different size of magnets and whatnot. All have different air space.

BTW this is called displacement. Not air space ;D

I think he was generalizing. Displacement is the subs portion of space within a box and the air in side of that space is called air space and subs do require different amounts of it.
160 would be easily hit if you did a 6th order box that filled a van or suv filled with 10's and and roughly 15-20k rms it would be alot of work though
48xPioneer TS-W259D4 350 rms $2640 these lil guys move more air than most 12's and have a low end of 20hz with a sensitivity of 92db per watt
9 x hifonics bxi2100's $1800 can strap these with rcas up to 15 amps
10 xbatteries $2000
4 alternators $800
alternator mount and belt $200
wood/ screws/ bolts $ 200
wiring? i dunno maybe $1000
head unit. 300$
rihno lining for deadening $122 with sprayer
Totaling roughly $9k. affordable if you really want to be that into it.

Hank has a similar setup
Hes doin over a 160db at like 30hz. does a 150db at 10hz....impressed yet? he would have the loudest drive by score in the world if he competed in meca. For reference meade does a 135-136db...this guy does like a 142db @9ft away, were meade did it at 6ft away. Impressed yet? Meade does his 156-157 at like 40-41hz
