Farewell, Kaisermiro, an absolute beast and firever an icon for this club! :hail:
It's sad to see him leave, but I'm happy with the way this has been handled. He has given his 100% for us over the years, and now after winning everything (and multiple times for that matter), he has the opportunity to chase new ambitious (and enjoy a lucrative contract). Can't say I blame him for wanting to try something different elsewhere, and it's somewhat relieving to see his departure accompanied by a generous transfer fee...
Nno hard feelings whatsoever; he will always be one of us and welcome in Bernabéu... I wish him all the best. OBRIGADO! :hail:
From a purely sporting perspective, it's a bit of a worrying departure. Unlike last year's cases with the inconsistent Varane or the decaying Ramos, Casemiro is an all around proper player with very little flaws. This time I can't celebrate... he's a true beast that has been a keystone for our midfield for years. Yes, he's entering his 30's, but he stiill has a few years of world class football in him. Tchouaméni looks promising, but we don't know yet how he'll adapt in this first season at the club. I would have liked to see a transition from Casemiro to Tchouaméni over 2-3 years... but alas, we must have faith in our new signing.
bought for €6M sold for €70M after 5 UCLs including 2 La Liga double winning season. Basically wiped out the Tchouameni fee.
people can say what they want about Perez but he is cunning businessman. Sold CR7 for a profit 9 years after purchaing him for then-world record €94M.
it’s a fair price imo. Best DM in the world and Manure lacking a pure DM like that since Keane retired (17 years ago). Wanted to come and has his old teammate Varane there. Better than chasing that spurned fool De Jong who doesnt want to be chased and is happy to be made a scapegoat in Catalonia.
