If you ever want to see a textbook example of a player bringing "intangibles" onto the field, just watch the difference between Jefferson and Clark at starting Safety. The blown coverages damn near disappeared completely within the span of a week.

Yanda gonna leave a big hole on the OL and in the locker room. Was really hoping Lamar's emergence would keep him motivated for one more year.

Ben Powers supposedly looked good in the one game he played last year, but it wouldn't surprise me if they sign a veteran and make him earn it.

Tbh, I think this firmly puts us in the market for a big name on guard, either through FA or through a trade.
If we feel good about someone on RG in-house, then Thuney would make sense at LG.

We haven't had a good, reliable 5-tech DE for many years. Hopefully Campbell has some gas left in the tank. Our edge defense vs. the run was pretty bad last year, so even if he can't provide much as a pass-rusher, he can certainly improve our run defense.

1-year rental at 15m is kind of steep, but maybe they'll work that into a longer deal.
