for peasants they played really well, but still terrible to be eliminated by villarreal

tbh they've been playing really well pretty much on a very consistent basis since the days when they were coached by Pellegrini

It's just a shame they're the spanish version of Hoffenheim, because otherwise they'd be very likeable. Fantastic and intelligent club management behind the scenes and entertaining, focused and brave football on the pitch.

Tonight was a suprise, ofc, but I can't say I didn't consider this a somewhat reasonable outcome. Bayern aren't at their peak, and Villarreal are a very solid team.

Doubt they'll get past Liverpool though.

btw, Cholo could take a lesson or two from Emery. Atlético are so insufferable to watch despite having a far better squad tan Villarreal.

cant say i have ever seen a player tearing down his legacy faster than lewandowski

dude made way over 100m in munich, highest paid player in the league, built a team around him that would provide non stop assists

the board literally did everything so he could win the individual awards he deserved for his performances and now this.......

sorry mate, but respect goes both ways
