Yeah I'm fine with getting him ab early in the season, but if you're going to play Panik at least use the opportunity to "rest" one of the top guy by DHing them imo.

Panik has been pretty bad at the plate for pretty much his whole career, doesn't make any sense to use him at DH.

Yeah Panik got a hit today and we won so it doesn't matter but I just thought it was odd to use a below average hitter at the DH position.

Beside, Panik is probably a better IF than Vladdy and Biggio so might as well use him on defence if you're going to play him. The argument will be that you want the young guys to play to learn the new position but you can do that when Tellez is Dhing.

Sorry I can't you seriously when u think panik is better IF then biggio. Vladdy sure, but he's been really impressive at first and I doubt panik can play 1st better.

The difference between tellez and panik career batting average isn't much difference.

Come on if we take both Biggio's and Panik's most played and only position with enough data to be worth something (2B), Panik has a better UZR/150 than Biggio both career wise and in 2020 as well.

And I love Vlad Jr., but while as been great this year, it's been 3 games.. Last year he was one of the worst 1B in the league.

And Tellez has been trending up with a 133 WRC+ last year, while Panik's best season came in 2015. He has averaged ~85 WRC+ the last 3 years, that's not good by any means.

Ur selectively choosing when to use sample size for and agnst ur argument. Without a question biggio, is now, and is a better inf.

Tellez had 1 good portion of a season. I'm not sold on him and he's not an everyday player.

For vladdy, he lost a ton weight and dedicated to be better in the field. I don't think it's fair to judge him based of last year performance when he's completely changed player this year. This can be seen thru the eye test and tangible evidence, lost a ton of weight making him quicker, more agile. Not too mention an extra year of experience now at 1b.

And Tellez has had one good half season but Panik has been shit for 3 years.. I'm not sold on Tellez either but at least he has shown some promise.

And yeah I think Vlad can be a fine 1B. He has lost a ton of weight and has more experience at 1B now. Still, I think it's fair to say that Panik is in bettee shape than him and he probably has more range. I agree though Vladdy's been great this year and hopefully he can keep this up.

Rowdy is absolute dogshit. Bench this guy.
