Im very terrible with math, but I agree with your equations showing that HM is more effective.  If this helps anyone else, this is the gear I use with my lvl 50 heal charm and my heals are pretty high, ranging from 800-900 with 220+ Intel:

Rare godwood staff
Level Req: 55
Damage: 81 to 217

+44 Intelligence
+1% Physical Damage Reduction

Angelic spiderthread robe
Level Req: 55
Defense: 0 to 24

+15% Enhanced Effect
+38 Intelligence
+4 Extra Item Slots
+23% Heal Mastery

Mythical ice XII
Level Req: 45
Spell Damage: 175 to 210
Mana Cost: 115

+192% Enhanced Effect
+5 Magic Luck
+1 to 41 Mana per Kill
+1% Magical Damage Reduction
+27% Heal Mastery

Magical focused heal XIII
Level Req: 50
Heals: 201 to 241
Mana Cost: 125

+210% Enhanced Effect

When I used just HM gear in catas, I would heal for about 1k with my 44 intel staff.  Using just this gear, I heal for about 800-900 per cast.  The Hm alone on the charm and robe make up for any 60 Intel gear that Ive seen.  So hopefully this helps anyone who thinks Higher INtel gear beats out good HM/Intel mix.

the equation isnt to prove that HM > int, thats already known, tit for tat, but this can durive info about which gear to select, choose to wear over another, or what to buy b4 you actually buy

very sexy gear btw ^^

Thx. Although I wasnt trying to show that HM > INT solidly, was also trying to show the types of gear people could look for to maintain the good mix of intel/HM vs solid Intel or HM like your formulas suggest, but alot of times I fail badly at doing that ohmy.gif
