It would be more romantic if I didn't have to be apart from him for so long, and he gets really weird or angry when I try and ask him about when it is happening, he tells me he is really stressed.

He says that we will likely be moving in with some of his friends, who are a couple and want to get their own place, but he says he doesn't know when or if that is going to happen

He says if that doesn't work he will just get his own place, yet he says that could take a long time to set up, even though the way I see it, if I am over there asap I can get a job and help him out with expenses instead of having to have him take care of it all, but then he just says that he has told me over and over that it wouldn't work and then I get upset and then we start argueing..

So you'll be moving into another couples place with your boyfriend?
Is there enough room?
It would make more sense if you moved there at the same time he did. Like you said two incomes is better than one.

It would be a 2-3 bedroom house, so yeah, enough room, but that is only if they have gotten a place by the time that he wants to go over there
If they havn't moved into their own place by then he needs to stay at some place which he says has only barely enough room for him, and then he can save up in that place so he can rent a place and then I can fly over there.

He is thinking over the long term, I am thinking over the short term, I just want to be over there with him, I couldn't care less where we were, as long as we were together, he wants to make sure we are comfortable over there and that I am not disappointed and want to come back to NZ

You two wouldn't be able to just stay at the other couple's place until they move out?

The other couple is currently flatting and they are moving out because they want their own place'


Although I am now browsing some places that are available for rent, and they seem affordable for us, just need to find a place that is close to where he will be working.

What kind of work does he do?
It's that easy to just move to Australia & start working?

For people from NZ it is, NZ and Aus have agreements that allow you to travel and work easily

He is trained in I.T and he earns $100/hour here

He is going to be working at a petrol station in aus.. At least until a better job opens up.
