We Are Legion (We Are Bob)
it's a popular recommendation on r/audiobooks, but i thought it was overhyped. there are 10 different perspectives, and they're in different timelines. really frustrating for me to deal with.

My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix

girl finds out her best friend is possessed by a demon. i really liked the best-friends aspect to it, and the hilarious body building bible thumpers. there are a lot of 80s references (like ready player one) which went over my head.

Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea by Charles Seife, 8/10

-1 is based on length, and the fact that the author should have included more information in certain periods of history.

-1 for some of the descriptions of quantum mechanics. Certain things should either be omitted or expanded on. I felt they were weak from concision, and the book may have been stronger replacing this discussion of previous centuries.

While there is always room for improvement, this book kept me wanting more.
History and mathematics are broad topics that include many of my reading interests. Of all the books I've read, this has been the best fusion of history and mathematics in one.
I should clarify for history buffs that do not enjoy math, there are no complex proofs or prohibitive math topics.
Seife does a great job of explaining the complexity of frustration zero caused through history, up to modern times.

If you ever tried to organize a countdown with folks who jump on 1 instead of "go" ( or 0 ), and found yourself frustrated, just imagine the implications of zero for ancient greeks.
