jack reacher #2, die trying. it feels very different from #7 i read a while back. he's basically just a chill prisoner for a good chunk of the book, not trying to infiltrate anything. i liked it better than #7.

related to the game? i dont think i've ever watched the cinematic videos from d2 or even listened to anyone talking. idk what the story of diablo 2 even is o.O

Books are from sanctuary world diablo game, but it have nothing so much to do from game story, its from Richard Alen Knaak and one is from Mel Odom. Its good, it is not best fantasy books ofc..but good for me because diablo is 20 years now? of my life :)

About diablo cinematics every game have different story, diablo1, diablo2 and diablo3.. ;) But cinematics from diablo2 are awsome..was best game cinematics @ 2001 :)

jack reacher #10, the hard way. it was more investigation than action. unfortunately, the author tried too hard for the twist so it was very predictable.

jack reacher #20, make me.

unlike the very predictable #10, i didn't see this plot coming. probably the darkest jack reacher novel so far.

The Ballad of Black Tom by Victor LaValle

i hated how the author kept changing how he called the main character. here's an example where the author referred to him three different ways in three consecutive sentences from chapter 9:

"The old man ran towards Tester, but the rowdy guests got in his way. Robert Suydam watched as Charles Tommy Tester grabbed the two handles and pulled the doors open. Then, to Robert Suydam's horror, Tommy walked through them and shut the library doors behind him."

either way, i'm staying away from this author in the future

Nothing to Lose (Jack Reacher, #12)
by Lee Child

i like the small town with secrets trope, but reacher was the jerk in this one.
