Thanks guys, I have the whole thing opened in word, correcting all the errors I can find.

I realised when sleepy, I am a bit of a comma whore d-lol.gif

If you notice any really pointed errors (aside from the fire thing) you can pm them to me, and I will make sure to thank you for the help when I repost the fixed up one. But that doesn't mean you have to waste your time finding the errors, I can get a lot of them.

The fire is more erratic than fire error, is going to Mr. Animage, he found it first ;p Just a lil late for me to edit. bier.gif

sry but i don't like this guide

it's too long and the most of it is a bunch of statements of obvious.

some of your numbers are also wrong...

90% of guides here, are obvious things to people that have been playing.

And if my numbers are wrong, you should tell me. ;o

for example you said a baba caster has 350 more life than a fighter when it's actually 700, but the real big mistake is about the "damage nerf" percentages which are totally fucked up

Yeah. I forgot the barbarian have 10 more vitality, and 5 less intelligence.

I was thinking of mana when I typed that. ;p

And as for the percents, They aren't that wrong. 1 point of intelligence is pretty close to 1 percent more magical damage. To know for sure, I'd have to know njaguars forumulas, which I don't.

i'll do a damage comparison

i figured out the formula for damage is something like that:

damage = charm damage * (1 + INT*X/100)
X is something around 1.06 and 1.08, i think there is a diminishing return the more int you have even if it's almost invisible
since this is just a damage comparation we don't need numbers 100% certain so i'll count the X as 1.07 for every calculation

since we are doing a comparison we will take in account characters wearing equivalent items, so same charm and weapon/armor with the same amount of int.

i'll count a full int magician as 100% damage.

i'll make the calculation on lvl 71 characters with +80 int from weapon+armor (cheap) and mind that the more int you get from gear the more the difference will shrink.

full int magician = 220 total int = 100% damage
10 vit rest int magician = 210 total int = 96.7% damage
rogue = 185 total int = 88.7% damage
fighter = 170 total int = 83.9% damage
barbarian = 165 total int = 82.4% damage

so...
yes!
your damage percentages are totally fucked up
