I am level 83 wearing the following gear

Demon machine
35/12 Vipermagi
And a fire sorc circlet with AR Visio and fire res

And I have 3 jewels at my disposal:
37ed/13 max dmg
15ias/25 fire res
5/5 fire facet

Question 1) what jewels do I put in what item?

Atma Scarab
Razortail
Nagel
Ravemfrost
Aldur/War Travs depending
Magefist

My offhand is a 9es Memory (no CTA)

I have an anni, storch, 4x fire GCs

And I do about 9k dmg

Merc is wearing insight, perf fort, tal mask (about to get an infinity, very close)

My resistances in hell suck (-28,-11,11,64) for fire/light/cold/psn respectively

Question 2: Am I better off wearing a Mara’s and not trying to proc amp dmg? I mostly built this char because I found this sick AR/fire circlet and wanted to fuck shit up. Am I just not fucking shit up because I have no infinity? Or is it because I’m too low level? I find it hard to believe that flicker flame/Mara’s will improve this so significantly that I am running around wrecking shit. So what are your thoughts?

Get infinity probably. Most things in hell have high fire res. (iirc from my botting days in 2010ish lol)

infinity would take them from ~+50 to -40?

Also don't see why Atmas would help at all if all your damage is Fire

I just got an infinity and it has changed everything. The atma was to proc amp dmg which at this point I realize I prob don’t need

You also need a fire sunder if u dont alrdy have

You need flickering flame for -res, res fire aura, mana, and plr. It's basically too good to not use.

You need 10 ias to hit last bp. Should ideally be either 15/30 lr or 15/30 pr.

+ skills is very important for this build so swap Nagel for soj and get a +2 sorc/fcr ammy.

Infinity is also important to not only lower enemy res, but defence as well so you can pass hit checks.

The build is supposed to be an es build, so with memory prebuff res is less important

Curious what you think of all of this, plus using a brand instead of demon machine, and using an arachnid instead of Razortail (since brand grants 100% pierce)

Brand doesn't have exploding arrow

I thought it has level 15 exploding arrow? Vs level 6 on demon machine
