Another thing that kind of bothered me was Squid Game. I liked the show and it was very good, but the extreme level of violence was disturbing. Like this shit was WORSE than game of thrones, where the depiction of violence was explicit to make a point about the horrors of war & conflict, yet it seems to be promoted as a mainstream example of Korean entertainment. I guess this acceptance of extreme violence intersects with the other degenerate stuff.
There is always a fine line between authoritarian restriction of freedoms (Xi) and letting people have too much freedom which leads to degeneracy (the West's current state). Nowadays people seem to have trouble identifying the line should be.
Squid game is amateur compared to what the Japanese degenerate movie stuff i.e Battle Royale etc etc etc not sure if you have watched them. Both countries are extremely repressed a point. Furthermore with the close proximity between Japan and Korea, things spread and move around very conveniently.
We are talking between 1960s up till 2000s.
During this period of time between 1960s up till 2000s, The Chinese are still closed off from them because as we know " Communist" state, ban google, ban Youtube , ban this shit and ban that shit. Even then , the Korean culture have inevitably slipped into China's entertainment industry starting 2008.
As you can see now and if you look at some of these Chinese degenerate shit, they mirror those that are from Korea.
A good read and look into the Japanese and their so called sick and "degenerate culture". We have to start during WW2 and what they did to the entire Asia, the Koreans and Chinese being the testing subjects and guinea pigs
