Hey

So I know that I have to change attack styles every 5 hits, but sometimes the boss changed his attack to magic, so I change my prayers, but it still hits me like 30 and 40 in two shots and kills me rapidly, before I even manage to get his hp below 80%...

Any strategies would u suggest? How his attacks function?

Standard attacks: The Hunllef uses two main standard attacks, a range crystal-like attack and a magic based orb attack.

Stomp attack: If a player is underneath the Hunllef when it tries to attack the player, the Hunllef will perform a stomp attack which deals up to 68 typeless damage, similar to the stomp attack used by the Corporeal Beast. This attack does not count towards one of the Hunllef's four standard attacks it uses before switching.

Prayer Disabling Attack: When the Hunllef is attacking using magic-based attacks, it has a chance to use an attack which turns off prayers. These attacks use a different game sound, hence it is recommended to use sounds during the fight. They are also a different colour, in case audio cues are not used.

Tornadoes: The Hunllef summons multiple tornadoes that chase the player and deal high damage if they reach the player's location. These tornadoes disappear after 20 ticks (12 seconds). The amount of tornadoes summoned increases as the Hunllef takes damage.

The Hunllef will alternate between mage and ranged standard attacks after any combination of 4 standard, prayer-disabling, or tornado attacks.

I am 99 ranged and magic, and I can't even get him below 80%, how pathetic

when I have protect from mage and he starts attack me with ranged, 2 hits and I am dead. I don't even have enough time to change the prayer
maybe my ping is too slow or I have got shit mouse and low fps, fk knows, but not for

I am buying a crystal pickaxe and going to motherlode mine, to get 99 mining

Just keep practicing. Takes time like anything. Focus on avoiding damage rather than dealing damage at first.

Utilize f keys for swapping to inventory/prayer book

It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Also when you’re worse at the boss I’m the beginning focus on making better armor. The higher tier the armor the less damage you take

Don’t reccomend tier 1 in the beginning. Make tier 2 until you get consistent kills. Only make tier 1 when you know what you’re doing and want to save time

I always did two different t3 weapons. You can do one t3 weapon and 2 tier 1 weapons and manipulate his prayer switches but I never cared enough to do that
