as a hammerdin what is the best setup for my merc to handle a2 baal wave? feel like im using too many rejuvs on him with eth scarab husk treachery non eth cryptic axe and rano andy visage...

Magic sunder does help, as it removes their immunity. But, alas, you still won't do much dmg in pl8 against them.

fort or treachery for my merc? i currently have an eth ca for the insight, so losing treachery would make me need to switch to a gt or thresher for attack speed. most everything I read says treachery because of fade proc, but fort just seems like it would do way more damage to baal wave 2, and tbh everything else in the game is trivial as an hdin..........fort or treachery? using a2 defensive merc, If I got fort would it be smarter to go might for more dmg?

I'm using a prayer merc with non eth CA insight (bonus for prayer since last patch) an eth Forti and Tal helm (for life leech and higher resis) and he never dies to the 2nd wave. I've also tried a merc with might but i felt 0 difference in his kill speed so i prefer prayer for the survivability.

But I just don't do Baal with my hammerdin anymore since its such a waste of time. You can MF all other Act5 hotspots + dia in the same time.
