g'day folks

as time goes on, I am realizing the build I have built in 2017 is losing its touch. It served me very well these last 6, coming up on 7 years.

Current specs (pulled from NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE):

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
Intel I7 6700k CPU @ 4.00 GHZ
16 GB Ram
2560/1440 144 hz display



This build has served me very well, has multi tasked great - played LoL, d2r, lost ark, osrs, WoW very great. D4 i noticed huge issues and I even notice issues now trying to multi task just having a stream open and running CSGO (the game freezes and i lose major FPS), everything becomes slow.

Do we have any information on the next gen GPU's for nvidia and CPUs for intel? definitely will keep it Intel for my next build. I want to hold out as long as i can which I will do, because I want to do pretty much what i did in 2017, buy a xx80 / 90 series card and a beefy processor so that next build can last me another 6 - 7 years.

What do you recommend i do? I haven't kept up on hardware for a very long time so I am completely out of the loop.
