I have a classic sorc at level 80, and I want to respec her, to make her best able to run the Chaos Sanctuary Solo.

This is for offline Single Player play. So, I would like to increase Players Count as best I can...

How would you skill her?

I have good gear, enough to hit 70 fcr, 75 ctb, 75 all res, 42fhr and have about 900 life and 400 mana and +4 Skills.

at 80 I was thinking (91 Skills):

20 Frozen ORB
20 IceBolt
13 to Cold Mastery (17 With Skills)
20 to FireWall
6 to FireMastery (11 with skills and adding points here per lvl)
1 to Static (5 with skills)
1 to Nova (5 with skills)
1 to Light Mastery (5 with skills)
1 To Tele
1 To Warmth
+7 Others to Pre Reqs


Questions:

is Lvl 17 Cold Mastery (-100 Cold RES) best for Chaos Sanctuary, or would it be better to max it out?

Would 20 Fireball 20 Firebolt and +1 Fire Mastery be better at handling Oblivion Knights?

is there perhaps a better skill option? Maybe some weird Static Field Build?

Solo sorc simply does not handle CS well. That current build will handle CS... sometimes. Though only on lower player counts. A decent portion of your runs though, you're going to encounter a dual immune seal boss and simply be stuck staticing down until you have to end up spamming nova and praying the boss dies. Blizz is more powerful but not really better when you consider how much investment it takes. I would just go with what you have currently. Save a respec for when you can pump as much as possible into vitality.

Definitely do not go the fireball route. It’s very weak compared to firewall. Your current route is good.

Ice bolt will not help that much. I would instead stop at 10 points in ice bolt and put that into nova instead so you can kill fire+cold inmunes. They spawn a lot more often than you think.
