how to build a safer and lower cost nova sorc ?

0 str Scythe build is almost 0 fhr on body , maybe 10 on boot, but it is rare
the only way to get fhr is from grand charm, but light fhr gc is costly

Question 1.
=> cresent mooon and spirit instead
55fhr and 3 resist ! therefore, resist on ring/amulet/boot is not a must!
at ladder start, good item is very rare. it is good for leveling rush.
disadvantage is less 10~20LR reduce

Question 2.
=> if using spirit, then pet must be using infinity, therefore cant have the mana regen from 17level insight
what if only put 1 point on energy shield (with item => around 20 ES)
and 20point on warm to compensate not using insight?
will it work?

Question 3.
how many ES is enough?
es reach 95% max at 39level
using memoroy +9 as weapon 2 (bo bar as cta) , can reach 39 easily , around 15point on es at 90level
absorbing 95% mana mean that mana bar go down quickly?
if keep taking red pot when getting damage, maybe 8x% is enough?
i level it to 40level and found that mana bar go down quickly , and hp drop really slow

At 95% es you only need to worry about poison res

i play HC. and this so far has been my prefered set up.
Crescent moon /w SS or Gerke and as many facets as you can muster.
Merc With insight. me with griffons
no infinity

There IS a build where you run merc with infinity and just run a metalgrid and turn an insight into an iron golem. this gives u everything you want in the post above. which also helps with the mana needed for ES

as for ES. 95% and you are golden. but with 9Memory staff u need like level 90to get that

yea. its actually crazy sounding. but when u thinik about it u lose at most 2skills and 20fcr. no res is needed anyways. but it completely free's up your hands which gives u that FCR and skills back from not self weilding and even more if u run SS so u can have the 35% reduction

i played hc nova once and die at 92lv
tal set and spirit

im talking from plenty of personal failures lol

told myself when i make a nova this season. the metal grid approach would be my first choice. but instead of infin. id run with LR procing A5
