I have a 3080 - is it worth selling to get like a 4070? or something.

4060 TI could compete with 3070 TI/3080 depending on how the benchmarks work out.

no not really,

3080 and 4070 are pretty close in terms of performance, the only thing better on 4070 is DLSS 3/ RT and supports AV1 encoding...

Stick with your 3080 probably for another 2-3 generations honestly.

Too expensive for what it really is. Stick with 3000 series.
