D4 is shaping up to be a POE-lite. A Project Diablo 4 if you will. Why not play D4 where your POE experience will automatically put you in the top 10% of players?

will there even be trade and an economy? because so far it doesn't seem like it, and then what's the point in being the best and farming the toughest content? There's not even going to be leaderboards for the first 2-3 seasons lol

Not even close to a poe lite version. D4 = D3+
I like D3 for two weeks after a new season start. That's because i already bought it. Never going to happen with D4.
$70+ for a game and nothing learned from its predecessor.

Skilled PoE players wouldn't touch this, If they do play it will not be for long. D4 is more like D3 and Diablo Immortal with a skill tree that tries to make it look complicated like PoE but is very easy to understand.

poe players enjoy two things: complexity and self torture so im pretty certain that gamers who are still playing poe at this point are unlikely to switch. those poe players that are likely to try d4 have already quit poe

Maybe because the average PoE player respect himself and don't play low IQ game with absolute trash itemization.
