PC was mostly done, but just finished upgrading the PSU for overkill and for the shift technology for improved cable management and airflow.

Build is as follows. Picture is outdated, too lazy to take a new picture. Picture shows old motherboard and old PSU & cables.

Why DDR4? DDR5 is not currently worth it IMO. After researching the very minor FPS boost compared to DDR4, I voted to wait.

Asus TUF RTX 4090
i9-13900k
Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD
WD 500GB SSD auxiliary drive
MSI Z790 Tomahawk DDR4 WiFi Motherboard (Not pictured - added 5/1/23)
1200W Corsair PSU
Cappelix H115i 280 mm Corsair AIO
7 Corsair RGB 120 mm case fans
32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600 mhz ram
Case: Corsair Airflow 5000D
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2
Mouse: Corsair Sabre Pro Champion Series
Headset: Corsair HS80 RGB

Dual monitor setup:

Main monitor: 27" Samsung G7 Odyssey 4K 144hz HDR400
Second monitor: 27" LG Ultragear 1440p 144hz HDR

Average FPS on 4K ultra graphics COD: Modern Warfare II is ~275
Average FPS on 4K ultra graphics D2R is ~350

Temps under load - CPU 55C, GPU 50C. Credit to the airflow case, allows me to keep this beast of a CPU ice cold with a relatively small AIO

Corsair Crew rise! Aside from my cable management displeasure, this looks solid.

Those 280 AIO's are sexy, fill the case better.

How do you like that motherboard? I was thinking of switching to that exact one.

I Initially planned to upgrade the aio, but my temps under load are ice cold in comparison for what this CPU usually runs at.

No need to upgrade if 60C is the worst temp I see while playing MW II in 4K ultra.

Love the board. The overkill of 4 m.2 ssd slots w/ heat sinks is amazing. Also overkill on the ports, which is nice for future proofing. Built in 6E wifi card is great. One complaint though is 1 out of every 10 boots my ethernet will not work and it resorts to wifi. Only fix is rebooting.

Because of this, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise a great board.

Wellll I already ordered it LOL. That's definitely an odd bug. I guess I'll let you know if it happens to me.

Well, I experienced that same issue haha. Have you tried updating BIOS? Trying to decide if I should bother

Yes I have. You should always update your bios if you play games with your pc. I read somewhere briefly about a windows setting about fast boots causing errors. So to correct it, fastboot needs to be off. I skimmed the post and didn’t care to try it.
