Oops... 'glimpse' darn typo. :blush:

I do love these little critters when they are not in flying mode. The colours of their wing covers are a joy to look at.
Benefits: they are voracious eaters of aphids. So, they act as natural pesticides when you have fruit trees and vegetables which attract aphids. They are one of the nutritional sources for the organisms which prey upon them. So, and, please, do not squish 'em.
Tiny personal side note: As soon as they are in flying mode, they do look like tiny flying roaches. Bleh! Run for dem hills! Yes. I am a kooky selective speciesist.

Yeah! So true. Though it is not my vid.
Do you do photography? Even if as a light hobby? I have a little Sony which has a lens which I cannot switch out. Yet, it does a really nice job with nature shots.
Have to get back to it for a source of peaceful sanity. :hug:
