Do the drops from map final chests have breakpoints for item quality (or rarity -- not sure which word is correct here)?

If I finish a req lvl 35 map, am I less likely to see higher lvl items in the final chest? Is it possible to see highest level items on this map?

I ask because I understand that at a req lvl 35 map, I can hit monsters of death-farming level (59). However, I've yet to see an item over level 40 from the final chest.

Tier X map has a Monster Cap @ 60. Your character level needs to be around Monster Cap level for Drop level. Your question is based on the Final Treasure Chest, thus, if you clear the Map below level 55, you may (keyword) not have a level 55 item appear, so if you are level 55-60, it increases your chance to get a level 55 item from the final chest.

You have to be very lucky for the final chest to drop something decent.

Sometimes the event can help with final chest..I just did a lvl 40 map yesterday with 4ppl in it total to pop the last chests, I got 2 lvl 55 wellables and some mutes, and couple 50 and 40 wellables. It's random but sometimes when more items from chests event come, it has better luck cuz more items
