Finally Trying Out Dating Apps - Topic

Yeah I thought about it exchange # in chat if there is 2 hour Driving distance 100 Miles away. Why do I show up 2 hours drive and getting ghosted if we just promise to meet at a Mall at certain time through Dating App chats?

Perhaps if short distance within 1 hour travel is worth the risk not exchanging #s. Then again even with phone # they can still block n ignore you after traveling 2 hours to meet them.

Yeah many tricks the apps trying to make extra money on the Men. Good looking women on the apps have it easy they get so many likes n matches, mine is still empty lol.

Personally, I like to be fair on communication terms.

1) Match
2) Chat a bit to see if you vibe with each other
3) Pick a date
4) Go on date
5) If the date is nice for both people, exchange numbers
6) If the date wasn't great, be honest ASAP. Then unmatch (Nobody likes a boomerang match)

People giving out personal info in the first chat is just wild to me. (But I am also in my 30's, younger people may feel differently.)

Hopefully it’s short distance 1 to 1.5 hour travel, meeting in person just with chats and text on the apps takes some risk, hopefully the women will be serious about it and not ghosting n wasting my time going to meet them on a date.

The main reason I say be weary about exchanging numbers is if they end up being nuts, it's not difficult for them to harass you. Text-apps are pretty easy to get to text with a burner number.

You could also look up online if there are any speed dating events locally. They're actually pretty fun and usually involve food and booze.

I envy those happy couples I see around! Why not me! Well I had a fake one for 10 years until it didn’t work anymore. Divorced! New beginnings now in my Late 30s still feel young n strong. Being active.
