Northern snakehead fish will cross a path, street, or long stretch of land to find another body of water to live in and procreate. I need to add a caution fish crossing sign to my be careful of deer and turtle crossing signs that I often pass while out and about. The fish's colour patterns are beautiful.

That is exactly what they use as they take the lakes and rivers they occupy. The flail's spikes look like the Northern Snakehead's teeth.
