What would the difference be from diablo 2 trading? Diablo actually has a TOS against RMT and no grey market facilitation or support yet this entire site was created around it. To my knowledge Star Citizen has never punished people for selling ships or currency. They actually encourage it with the chairmans club by selling LTI ships that can be transferred 1 time when bought with real money and not store credit. CIG's (The developer for SC) actually helped facilitate a trade of ships between accounts for me and a friend a very long time ago.

There is absolutely trading between players with the Cargo elevator and the Wallet direct transfer feature. The fact that SC does not already have a forum here is actually insane since games like Dark and Darker and Escape from Tarkov are in early access in an earlier infancy than star citizen and also have earned a fraction of development funds that star citizen has openly obtained.

I have no idea what the hold up is. The game plans to launch in 2026, hope people can wrap their head around how important it is to have a forum for this game by then.

Again, my “No” is based on the fact the game involves large real life cash flow, and the headaches that would come along with it, have you seen the amount of scams in just d2? Now multiply the values by 50-1000x, potentially leading to cascading issues for jsp.

As far as launch date.. well SC has announced 2018,2019,2020, 2021 etc, last I saw game was slated for second quarter 2027..in fact one would be hard pressed to find an instance of SC actually meeting a date they themselves announced.

Are you disputing the fact they have posted and missed multiple release dates?

Are you disputing that people often scam on d2jsp for pennies and that pattern in all likely hood continue when and if ships worth 100's to 10s of thousands of dollars are added?

You realize some D2 items are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars right? There is no ship that even comes close to the value of the most expensive items on d2r. There is much more to the ecosystem and trading than just trading ships. Escape from tarkov has a worse trading system and we have a sub forum for it. Literally everything you have pointed out is already looked past for current games with forums. I have done over 4k trades and never been scammed on d2jsp. People just need to be smart, doesn't matter what game they are trading on around here. Mediators exist for a reason.

Missing release dates? They have only ever missed one official release date. SQ42 is officially slated to release in 2026 and the pipeline for SC MMO is slated for 2026 subject to a tentative delay because of some of 4.3s current content having issues. The game is getting multiple patches per month and is becoming more and more playable very quickly. While it would make sense to have a forum for it ASAP, I won't make a fuss about it until its officially released. Just really damn weird that other games which are in early access are already on the forums and have complete economy wipes every few months compared to SC which sometimes doesn't do a wipe for a year +. Just seems like there is a ton of misinformation going around here and some people acting like they know more than they do.

and not sure where you got you launch date info, but first "official" launch date was slated for 2015, im to lazy to go on way back machine to bring up the kickstarter.

Its a solid project, and their alpha releases have for the most part been better than many other "big name" studio's full releases, and Im not one of those people crying "scam"

My no is simply about d2jsp, I just cant see how it would create more headaches then say bnp.

I also agree that d2jsp has a lot of shit games with subsections.

I also agree that Star Citizen, a 1b game needs to have its own forum along with GTA6. Its an inevitability for when it launches.

We are getting close to squadron 42 releasing, within the next 8 months imo. Once SQ42 releases they are going to put MANY more people on Star Citizen, the MMO aspect of SQ42. Right now they have been focusing on the launch of sq42 but when its finished, its going to surprise people how fast star citizen hits 1.0. Since there is wipes on star citizen atm, I am not so distraught over there not being a section but once it hits 1.0 IT ABSOLUTELY NEEDS a spot here on d2jsp. I agree mostly with your comment. However, D2R, D4 all have "Seasonal" content which reset every 3 months or so which each new season. Star Citizen is no different theoretically except CCU is permanent on your account and AUEC will reset which adjust market values for components etc. So time will tell. Need to find peeps who want my FG for their CCU ships lol
