I am a new dad enjoying D4. I find cool items, but don't know the values and struggle to coordinate time to meet with buyers.

Are there players/shopkeepers out there that wouldn't mind me occasionally sending a picture of loot for a price check? Possibly pawn items to you that you think have value at a steep discount and you can sell them and keep the profit? Is that allowed?

I would word your trade/topic a little bit differently, but yes there are people who sell/organize/price check items and will work with you as a team to manage an item shop.

ex.

Topic: Item Shop Exchange Services
Body:
ISO someone to help me maintain a shop. We can work out a deal on forums that we both agree too and you can sell items for me while I'm unable to for a fee.



Now this is super rough here I just threw it up in 30 seconds, but you get the idea.
