Post 1 thing they got right and 1 thing they got wrong

Right:
Fixed the issue of completing the game too fast. Progression is hard capped at these boss fights with a clear gear/build check at each one. Ex: Full legendary gear won’t get you to T8 but find 1 GA item and trans it, and you’ll blast everything up to the next capstone.

Wrong:
Too many mats and gold are given to the player reaching T9-10. I went from full ip850 gear to full ancestral trans’d gear upon reaching T9.

Well changes are because of xpac, not season. Anyway:

Good - they try to address almost every common criticism.

Bad - fail every where.

Very bad - old blizzard quality cinematics replaced with cheap ingame cut scenes.

Good - Less Boss Materials ( only Liar Key, Greater Liar Key, and tusks remaining), Skilltree feels better when you can put more points in the skills you want

Wrong: Unqiues getting Random Stats now.. at least for those you could be sure you get the right stats.. now you need to hope there too... 4GA? still bad stats = Trash

Most thing really. Best patch so far.

Wrong:
Having to manage multiple inventory again, mostly with the charm/seal one that is a huge pain, takes too much time/chest space/inventory space.
Class balance remains to be seen fully, but some chars seems to be way underpowered again.

Oh this guy is still around the D4 forums, after all this time, still trashing the game at every chance. I hope my life is never so void of meaning that I remain invested in things I don't like for years and years, god help me. A 2008 also, so must be quite old. Truly tragic.

Most changes are for the better, especially looting and itemization is a lot better even unique items getting random affixes I think is good, because now it's harder to get really good ones. Also lair bosses dropping not only uniques and some class specific uniques now not able to be target farmed (only belials or escalations which takes a lot of time). That at least give you some reason to grind instead of just improving on more GAs. Now overall item affixes make more sense and glyph system is ok, I wonder if it's a permanent or seasonal thing, transfiguration is another thing that added more spice to it. And I'm glad they removed masterworking being pain in the ass.

Grinding itself is not as boring as it used to because of war plans and activities trees makes you switch between activities. Maybe they could still make pits a bit more rewarding in terms of loot, especially in higher tiers and infernal hordes a bit faster because doing 10 waves is painfully long.

New skill tree is a bit better, unlocking other options to combine, but I still think there could be more variety. Also paragon is still meaningless and boring, could add more glyphs, boards and different nodes. But guess it's not gonna happen because this game tries to target coach gamers and give them illusion of choice without frustrating them. Aspects are also a bit better, I like that they are now less build specific.

The main issue still remains balancing but that's probably not gonna change, because they would have to change the whole damage calculation system that they are not going to do. Now it's still multiplier based, so every season after changes there will be some builds that can stack more dmg multipliers and do not 20% or 50% more damage than others, but 20x or 50 times which automatically makes other builds irrelevant and that's the worst part, because it removes build variety.

good: all the changes they made could be the best patch ever. If not ....
bad: the implementation of it. Bad testing on blizzard side before releasing. Old functionality from items still visible while items are no longer in the game. Lots, lots and i mean a lot of bugs everywhere. And crashing more then desirable.

Still having fun when everything goes well. :P

They got grind right / what is wrong is no diablo in diablo 4 and why have indestructible on a game that has hardcore. Also why account bond items its a trading game. I got more lmk if need more! In the dark matter!
