Does it have any utility over the more popular gems like 7/15@s, shaels, jahs, bers ?

Do you guys run at least one wizz/Branch with a Stone on switch?
Does it have utility on Damage reduced ? Is it independant?
Against who would you use it?

What about Bone break charms ? Are they worth using over a Lifer ?

Defence is for blocking melee hits. For the jewel, idk but I'm interested in the answer.

Right, thats true. If it had an impact it would probably be on DR I guess?

The protector stone is only useful for the - 10 resist other stats are wasted, to be honest only place I would consider playing this would be in a 2os circlet or pelt so you still have 1 os to put what your missing like fhr and resist, but honestly - 10% DR won't change much vs most of the chars

For renewed sunder charms the sunder part of the charms don't work in pvp but the - 10 resist fhr life mana frw etc will work, but Remember that sunder also have a big downside with - 70 to - 90 to you own physical resist witch make it completely unplayable in pvp.

So my opinion if you got a 2os hat and already reach all your BP resistance and DR etc, getting a - 10 resist protector stone would definitely not be a waste but I wouldn't play it over other stats if your missing somewhere else.

Hope it helps

-10% DR vs base res:
0 -> +10% dmg
8 -> +10.9% dmg
15 -> +11.8% dmg
50 -> +20% dmg

Compared to that, you could use a ber instead and this would be the resulting increased tankyness relatively to your other DR%:
8 -> +9.5%
16 -> +10.5%
23 -> +11.6%
43 -> +14%

So -10% DR is better offensively than a ber is defensively overall, but also ber is only working against 1 dmg type whilst -10% DR is always working.

Can’t really compare to a magic/rare jewel tho…
Some affixes combos could probably be better situationally, but same thing again, situationally is the keyword here.

So IMO, it definitely has its place on a pvp windy.
And you only care about the -10% DR, all other stats can be random, so it’s cheap.

A -10% DR sunder is worth using vs non-phys dmg matchups.
Vs phys dmg, you basically just both lose 10% DR, so you only benefit from the other stats.

In this situation it would probably be better for a circlet rather than pelt then, since pelts have more damage than circs.

I wonder what the min-max difference is between a vita/life add or stats+res jewel.

Overall though, I think surviving isn't really a problem for Druids, so thats why the -10 had me wondering here.

I think I'll try a setup with the -10 in a branch, so I can easily swap between.

How's a defensive rare/magic jewel compare to
-10% enemy DR
60@res
15% DR
-79% curse duration

Yeah that's not a debate, it's worth using.
The debate is more about renewed bone break
Definitely worth using vs non-phys dmg opponents, but against phys you both lose 10% DR, so I guess it depends on the other stats
