Act 5 merc with full Sazabi set + malice, would also give you fant, and he’d be suuuuper tanky with 15% leech

Made a second grief to try out WW. It's so much faster than zerk, but less GF on kill

On your "Zerk/Nigma+Merc" build planner page, you're only hitting 17fcr (from your amulet) because you're using Goldwrap belt, I assume, to hit the max Berzerk ias bp of 42.

It looks like the options to hit 37fcr/42ias are 1) go for 3os/20fcr on the circlet and lose the 80% goldfind suffix, but you keep the MF% from Goldwrap 2) get 20fcr on the belt and swap Lem in the circlet for a 15ias jewel (with 15@ or 40ed?). It seems like option 2 is ideal here because Gheed's Wager also gets you 15res, 20frw, -%magicres for your Berzerk, but you do lose out on 55% goldfind (50 from Lem, 5 from Goldwrap) and 30% MF from Goldwrap as well.

Another possible option is get a 2/20 amulet to hit the 20fcr bp and accept a one-frame slower Teleport.

EDIT: And yes, a 2/20/2os Barb Helmet is almost always fine.
However at that point I'd just go Gheed's Wager + 80%EG circlet and put in a 15/40 Jewel. You trade a Lem 50EG for a 15/40 rather than 80%EG for 20fcr.

Have you tried out concentrate with dreadfang on the a5 Merc?

I created two offline barbs where I wielded dreadfang vs the merc wielding it. Had the same kill speed on p1 as berserk, which surprised me. I had all budget gear on minus grief and arreats with protector to simulate early ladder and the AR bonus was nice.

Self wielding dreadfang was noticeably slower
